When using the comments features, a view-only user (with Process Viewing permissions in the web app) can do the following:
- add comments on any content item visible to them.
- view and reply to comments on published items for which they are a Stakeholder.
Add a new comment
1. Navigate to the relevant item. Read and review the content.
2. Click Comment.
3. Write comment and click Save. This will add a comment onto the item.
IMPORTANT |
Unless you are a stakeholder of an item, you will NOT see your comment appear next to the item. Items Stakeholders and system Administratorts will be able to review and manage your comment. |
View comment dashboard
View-only users (users with Process Viewing permissions) can view comments if they have been assigned as a Stakeholder to a published item.
There are two main ways to view comments.
- Direct item access: When you are designated as a Stakeholder for an item, you can view all comments associated with that specific item by opening that item.
- Comments dashboard: To see all items (of which you are a Stakeholder) with active comments:
- Go to Home > Manage Changes > Comments
- Double-click any item to open it and view the comments.
This dashboard provides a centralised way to track and respond to discussions across multiple items for which you are a Stakeholder.
Reply to a comment
As a Stakeholder for a content item, you can reply to comments. When replying, you can:
- answer questions from other users
- provide additional context
- request clarification
- share relevant updates.

You can view all the comments for which you are a Stakeholder under Home>Manage Changes > Comments. |
1. Open the relevant item and click Comments.
2. Click Reply.
3. Write your reply and click Reply. You will be able to see your reply will be visible under the original comment.
