Quick answer: Knowledge Testing is an add-on module that checks staff understand key policies and procedures. Tests appear in each person's My Knowledge tab, are assigned through roles, and need 100% to pass. Contact us to add or remove the module.
How knowledge tests work
- Each standard test has 12 multiple-choice questions. Questions and answers are shuffled on every attempt.
- Staff can try as many times as they need. A score of 100% is needed to complete a test.
- Tests appear in Home > My Knowledge, and results are kept in the web app.
- You assign tests by attaching them to roles, for example an onboarding role for new starters.
Common questions
How do I see who has completed their tests? Go to People > Users. The list view shows how many tests each user has been assigned and completed. Click Download for a report. See View and Export Knowledge Test Information.
Can we create our own tests? Yes. Ask us for the knowledge test template, fill in your questions and answers, and send it back to support@centroassist.com.au. We'll build the test in your web app.
Can we get a copy of the questions and answers? Yes. Contact us and we'll send them as a spreadsheet, for both standard and custom tests.
Why is Knowledge Testing on our invoice? It's a separate module on your subscription. If you don't use it, contact us before your renewal date. We'll update your subscription and send a revised invoice, then switch the module off.
How do we add Knowledge Testing? Contact us for a quote. Once it's paid, we switch it on in your web app. See How do I add a module or upgrade my subscription?.
A staff member needs to retake a test. See Reset knowledge test.
