Quick answer: Answers to common required reading questions, including why staff are asked to read something again, why emails list items people can't see, and how to avoid sending reading to everyone by mistake.
Why was I asked to read a policy again? When a required reading item is updated and published again, staff who have that role are asked to read the new version.
Everyone had to re-read a policy we only changed slightly. Can we undo it? No. Once it's published, the re-read request can't be reversed. Next time, untick This item is required reading for the Roles it is relevant to when you publish a minor change you don't want staff to re-read.
Staff got emails about policies that aren't assigned to them. The item was probably published with Email all users when this News Item is published ticked. Untick it when you publish updates that don't need to go to everyone.
My email says I have reading to do, but I can't see it. You may have more than one account, for example under a personal and a work email, or with two organisations. Sign in with the other account, or ask your administrator. See I work for two organisations that use Centro ASSIST.
An updated policy isn't showing as required reading. Check that This item is required reading for the Roles it is relevant to is ticked and that the right roles are attached, then publish.
Can someone else co-sign a staff member's reading, for example HR? No. Each staff member confirms their own reading. A second sign-off isn't available.
Can I mark something as read using the Feedback button? No. The Feedback button sends a message to the support team. To confirm reading, open the item from Home > My Knowledge, click the glasses icon, tick the box and click Agree. See What does the Feedback button do?.
Can I do my reading on a computer instead of my phone? Yes. Sign in at your organisation's web address with the same email and password. Completing reading on a computer is often easier.
Can required reading pop-ups be turned off? No. The pop-up appears until the reading is complete.
