Centro QMS and KMS customers can delete categories for all registers. This includes:
- incidents
- complaints
- feedback
- improvements.
The ability to delete categories is available to users with Administration and Model Administration permissions.

| This guide shows instructions for deleting an incident category. However, these steps can be repeated for all registers. |
1. Before deleting a category, ensure it is not attached to any register items. If there are register items attached to the categories, it cannot be deleted. You can either reassign all incidents linked to the category or rename the category.
2. Navigate to Admin > Categories.
3. Scroll to the relevant category type and click Edit. A list of all categories appears.
4. Click once on the category you would like to delete and click Delete.
5. Confirm the deletion of the category.
