Process deletion within release management is subject to a workflow similar to that which determines content editing and creation.
Tip |
To delete processes, a user must have one of the following permissions in the Centro system:
System administrators can change permissions for different users by going to People > Users. |
1. Access the Processes tab and click on the Processes subtab.
IMPORTANT |
You cannot delete a published version of a process if it has a newer copy that is:

2. Click on the process you would like to delete and the select Delete.
Tip |
If the process is in a draft state (i.e. marked 'Draft', 'Awaiting Approval' or 'Ready to Publish'), clicking Delete will remove it without activating the deletion workflow. |
3. A release management workflow appear. The deletion must be approved. Write a summary of why the item is to be deleted and click OK.
The process is now be marked ‘Awaiting Delete Approval’. Double click on the process to open it.
4. Once the process is open, click Approval. You have the option to approve the deletion or revert it. If you want to continue with the deletion, click Approve Deletion.
5. A release management workflow appears. Edit the summary of why the item will be deleted (if required). You also have the option to select who approved the deletion, the date on which it was approved. Click Approve to commit changes.
6. The process is in a ‘Delete on Publish’ state.
Tip |
If the deletion is part of a larger release (i.e. a release with multiple content updates), leave it marked ‘Delete on Publish’. When you are ready, you can publish it at the same time as your other content updates by accessing the Home tab and clicking Manage Changes. Please see the guide titled Publish Multiple Changes (in One Release) for more information. |
7. To finalise your deletion, click Publishing. You have the option to revert or finalise the deletion.
IMPORTANT |
You cannot recover a process once it has been deleted. |
8. Click Delete Immediately and a release management workflow appears. Edit your summary of why the item will be deleted (if required) and click Continue.
9. A release notes window appears. Write official release notes about the deletion. You can edit the release notes later if required.

10. Click Publish to confirm deletion.
