Release 4.1.0 introduces some important updates to user permissions and additional features for internal reporting of incidents, feedback and complaints.
Updated user permissions
The updated user permissions allow system administrators to have greater control over what users can see and do in the web app. Each user can have multiple permissions.
The functionalities associated with every permission are explained next to each of the options.
A comparison between the old and new permissions can be seen below, with the new options in red. Some permissions are new, while others have been renamed.

This release also introduces the Report & Improve function, which will be available to Centro BUSINESS/QMS customers in early May. With this option, employees with the Process Viewing permission can:
- report an incident
- lodge a complaint
- give feedback.

Once the initial form has been submitted, managers with the Incident and Improvement Manager permission will receive an email notification and can:
- view registers for incidents, complaints and feedback
- review and update details entered by employees
- assign actions, track and close out items
- download incident, complaint, feedback and improvement registers.
In addition, managers also have access to an improvements register.
User information updates
Two new fields have been added to help add further detail to user profiles. Both fields are optional. These fields are:
- job title
- department.
