This content update provides additional features to the existing core module internal audit templates. These changes enable a more comprehensive and robust auditing capability and will significantly reduce the time spent completing these requirements. This content update applies to all customers that have internal audits as part of their current subscription.
The audit spreadsheets now provide an in-depth summary of recommended evidence which your team can provide to achieve the optimal internal audit outcome. Providers should use these recommendations as a guide to understand what is available within Centro ASSIST to achieve the overarching outcome (with valuable suggestions to achieve best business practice).
Original Audit Spreadsheet
The original spreadsheets appeared as one column to capture ‘Improvements, recommendations, notes and evidence’ (see below):
New and Improved Audit Spreadsheet
The updated spreadsheets now have a free text column for writing Notes and Improvements. These can also be added to your Improvements Register under the Report & Improve tab (QMS subscription only). A second column has now been added and includes a list of potential/recommended evidence, based on each question shown (see below)
The update has been applied to the following internal audits:
- CM1 Rights and Responsibilities
- CM2 Provider Governance and Operational Management
- CM3 Provision of Supports
- CM4 Support Provision Environment
IMPORTANT: To access the updated spreadsheets and undertake the new audits, providers must schedule a new audit in their Centro web app by clicking Add New Audit. It is recommended you also delete any Audits you have scheduled for the future that will use the outdated spreadsheet versions.
