May 31 2022 - Release Notes – 4.4.0

Release 4.4.0 includes enhancements to a variety of existing features.  

These enhancements include the ability to:  

• view roles assigned to positions within the Browse tab 
• add external reference identifiers  
• view ‘parent items’ in the related items field (if a section of a different item has been linked) 
• record the type of interaction that occurs between roles (when adding/editing process steps).  

In addition, there have been improvements to Excel reports generated from the Centro web app.

Browse tab includes roles assigned to positions 

This update applies to users that have both roles and positions in their system. The Browse tab for policies, processes and documents has been improved to automatically include content relevant to:  

• the roles assigned to a specific; or  
• roles assigned to one of the positions the user has been assigned in the system.  

External reference identifiers 

A new external reference identifier has been added to the editing interface within the web app.  

This new field will be shown the following items: 

• processes 
• work instructions 
• policies 
• regulations 
• risks 
• controls 
• documents

Related items tab shows parent items  

If the related items field for any item type is linked to a policy section/regulation section/process step, users will be able to see additional information around the item to which the section/step belongs.  

Process interacting roles 

The field for recording interacting roles (available when adding/editing process steps) has been improved to allow for recording the type of interaction that occurred.  

When selecting an interacting role, the system provides three options of the type of interaction:  

• consulted  
• informed  
• supported.  

Spreadsheet reports enhancements  

There have been a variety of enhancements to spreadsheet reports that can be generated from the Centro web app. A summary of the changes is outlined below:
