Quick answer: Answers to common download questions: getting files from the Documents tab, Word versions, password-protected PDFs, and why you might not see a Download option.
The Download button on the Documents tab only gives me a list. That's expected. It creates an Excel list of your documents with their details and version information. To download a file itself, open the document and click Open document, then download it. Documents are downloaded one at a time because they're in different formats (Word, Excel, PDF).
A document looks empty when I open it. Click the Open document button rather than double-clicking the row in the list.
Can I download policies and processes as Word documents? Policies and processes download as PDF (or Excel for a register with version history), so version control stays in the web app. If you need Word versions of particular items, contact us with the list. Word copies are uncontrolled copies.
My downloaded PDF asks for a password, or I can't combine it with other PDFs. PDFs created by Centro ASSIST are encrypted to protect the content, and this can't be turned off. You can still copy text from them.
Can I download policies and processes together in one PDF? No. Download them as separate reports from the Policies and Processes tabs.
My logo isn't on the front of my download. The cover page with your logo is only included when you download more than one item at a time.
I don't have a Download option. You need the Report Downloading permission. Ask your Centro ASSIST administrator. See Which permissions does a staff member need?.
My auditor or regulator wants each item as a separate file. Download the items one at a time, or download them together and save each item as its own PDF.

| Don't start lots of large downloads in different browser tabs at the same time. It can slow down the web app. Wait for each download to finish in the Downloads tray. |
